form under the Your Account section.
ADSL/ADSL2+ upgrade: a change to a plan with a higher monthly access
charge
ADSL/ADSL2+ downgrade: a change to a plan with a lower monthly access
charge
Contract restart: a new Minimum Contract Term (as defined for each
ADSL/ADSL2+ plan) that replaces any previous Minimum
Contract Term.
Change of Plan special case1:
If you are changing plan in conjunction with a
relocation or reconnection of your ADSL/ADSL2+ service,
a contract restart will apply as well as the applicable
charges (see Relocation and Reconnection).
ADSL/ADSL2+ Relocation
To change your ADSL location please use the change of
location form under the Your Account section.
Relocation includes:
Change of service address (even if the service telephone number does not
change)
Change of telephone number (even if the service address does not change)
The relocation fee is made up of two separate Telstra
fees (disconnection and reconnection) up to $175
depending on the type of service and status of contract
period.
Relocation special case1:
If you are applying to relocate your TPG ADSL2+ service
to an area where TPG ADSL2+ is not available you have 2
options:
1. change to a TPG ADSL plan (with applicable charges
and contract restart)
2. cancel TPG ADSL2+ service (paying out the remainder
of their Minimum Contract Term up to $350)
Relocation special case2:
If you are applying to relocate or reconnect your
service during the Minimum Contract Term and TPG
determines that neither ADSL nor ADSL2+ are able to be
provisioned at the new address/telephone number, your
service will be cancelled and remaining portion of the
Minimum Contract Term will be charged up to a maximum of
$60.
TPG Internet cannot guarantee the availability of ADSL
or ADSL2+ at any location; however TPG can test for
availability on active phone numbers upon a customer’s
request.
ADSL/ADSL2+ Reconnection
The reconnection fee is levied by Telstra as their cost
to reinstate your line to their standard telephone
network and payable once your TPG ADSL/ADSL2+ service is
disconnected.
