- Power PC, Power Book, iMac or iBook (G3 or G4 strongly recommended)
- Operating System OS 8.1 or later
- Open Transport TCP/IP version 1.1.2 or later
- 12MB RAM (recommended)
- CD-ROM drive
- Colour display (minimum 800 x 600 resolution x 256 colours)
- Free space on Hard Disk Drive - 16 MB
- A spare Ethernet interface
- Sound card and speakers recommended
- Internet browser capable of supporting FTP (File Transport Protocol) such as Netscape Navigator 3 and above or Microsoft IE3
